Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in a charming neighborhood, within walking distance of the main attractions. The rooms offer a garden view and feature a giant King sized bed but lack wall-to-wall carpeting. While the service was lacking with the staff disappearing multiple times during my stay, the housekeeping was satisfactory. The Spanish dishes served at the dining area were included and delicious. The facilities are minimal but functional.
The hotel is nestled in a picturesque spot surrounded by a beautifully kept garden, offering lovely views. The rooms are cozy with fireplaces, but the absence of wall-to-wall carpeting adds a modern touch. While the service showed some areas for improvement, the location was excellent for exploring the Capital Hill neighborhood. Dining options were limited to local meat but included in the stay.
The Avery is a charming escape, offering a cozy stay in a great neighborhood with comfy rooms and friendly staff. However, some service issues need attention to match the overall experience. The dining options are limited but satisfactory, enhancing the intimate ambiance. A reasonable option for an intimate retreat.
